The NCAA Brackets Are Set Elite Eight

Elite Eight Is Here as the Road to Indianapolis Gets Tighter

The Elite Eight is set. Four spots in the Final Four are now on the line as March Madness moves one step closer to Indianapolis. The Sweet 16 gave us a mix of close finishes and statement wins. Now the field is down to eight teams. Each one is one win away from the Final Four.

How They Got Here

Purdue 79, Texas 77
Purdue survived a close battle with Texas and found a way to close it out late.

Iowa 77, Nebraska 71
As a No. 9 seed, the Hawkeyes have continued to prove they belong in this spot.

Arizona 109, Arkansas 88
Scoring 109 points in the Sweet 16 sent a clear message about what this Arizona team can be when its offense gets rolling.

Illinois 65, Houston 55
Holding a No. 2 seed to 55 points showed how sharp Illinois was on both ends of the floor.

Duke 80, St. John’s 75
Duke handled pressure late and finished off a tough Sweet 16 game.

Michigan 90, Alabama 77
Michigan now sit one win away from the Final Four with a strong 13-point win over Alabama.

UConn 67, Michigan State 63
UConn survived a tight matchup with Michigan State and are back in the Elite Eight.
