In the latest AP Top 25 College Football Rankings, Oregon holds onto the #1 spot after the 45-37 victory over Penn State, who drops to #5. Georgia leaps to #2 after the 22-19 win over Texas, who slips to #4. Notre Dame moves up one spot to #3, rounding out the top trio.

Boise State climbs to #8 with the 21-7 win in the Mountain West title game over UNLV, who slides to #24 while Arizona State jumps to #10 after a strong 45-19 win over Iowa State. Indiana holds steady at #9 after a bye week. Clemson surges five spots to #13 after edging SMU, who falls to #12.

Army vaults into the Top 20 at #19 following an impressive 35-14 win over Tulane, solidifying their spot as one of the top Group of Five teams. Memphis remains at #25 as they prepare for a key matchup against West Virginia.

The Southeastern Conference remains strong with Georgia, Tennessee (#7), Alabama (#11), and Ole Miss (#16) all in the top 16. Meanwhile, Syracuse (#22) and Missouri (#23) round out a balanced Top 25.
