The stage is now set for the PFL Women’s Featherweight Championship. Reigning champ Larissa Pacheco, fighting out of Marituba, Brazil, takes on Marina Mokhnatkina, hailing from St. Petersburg, Russia. The clash promises fireworks as they vie for the Featherweight title. Pacheco scored a unanimous decision over Kayla Harrison in a thrilling rematch at the 2022 finale last November to win the strap.

In the 2023 season, Pacheco continued her dominance, starting with a unanimous decision win against Julia Budd at PFL 2. She didn’t take long to get the next win in the next round. She TKO’d Amber Leibrock in the first-round. In the semi-finals, Pacheco made easy work of Olena Kolesnyk finishing with TKO victory 14 seconds into the first round.

Marina Mokhnatkina

Marina Mokhnatkina began her 2023 season with a TKO victory over Yoko Higashi. She followed up with a unanimous decision win against Evelyn Martins. In the semi-finals, she faced Amber Leibrock, winning the bout with an armbar submission in the first round.

PFL Women’s Featherweight Championship Prediction

Pacheco, brings an impressive record with 22 wins, while Mokhnatkina looks to add to her 11 victories. Larissa is at the top of her game right now and does not look to slow down anytime soon. Mokhnatkina is 35 and is six years older than her opponent. That age gap will prove to be too much in the chip. Pacheco gets the win in the ground and pound mid first round after Marissa makes an error on a takedown attempt.
