UFC 311: Makhachev vs. Moicano is scheduled to take place on January 18, 2025, at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. Originally, the event was set to feature a UFC Lightweight Championship bout between reigning champion Islam Makhachev and Arman Tsarukyan. However, one day before the event, Tsarukyan suffered an injury that forced him to withdraw. As a result, Renato Moicano, who was initially scheduled to face Beneil Dariush at the same event, stepped in as a replacement to face Makhachev for the lightweight title.
